Utah has some of the best biking trails in the world. Some of them can be intimidating, but I am here to let you know that there are some fantastic trails that are great for newbies. If you are a fan of trails, then you may be interested in having a look at Eden Utah real estate. Even casual bikers can enjoy the great sights of these Utah trails. Have a look below at my top 5 Utah bike trails for newbies.

Brim Trail at Powder Mountain Resort

Brim Trail is a 6.5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Eden, Utah that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from May until October.

This trail features great views of the valley from over 8000′ at the Powder Mountain Ski Resort. Fast and flowy single track with several A/B line options to make it interesting for any level of rider. Set up as a loop, this trail is can be ridden clockwise, counter clockwise or one can stop at the double track and double the distance to nearly 12 miles as an out-and-back.

While flowing in and out of alpine meadows, into pine and aspen groves this trail has fun features such as small double jumps, whoops and nicely banked turns. The majority of the trail is smooth clay single track, but builders have added rock slabs in several areas to add a mild technical element and keep things interesting.

Minimal climbing and easy technical elements make this a great ride for beginners and younger riders. With more trail planned in 2015, this area is one of the best new destinations in the Ogden area.

Green Pond Trail at Snowbasin Resort

Green Pond Trail is a 2.9 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Huntsville, Utah that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.

Snowbasin Resort’s single track trails are well maintained and wind through scenic aspen groves and glades of pines. All levels of riding are available from the base including gondola accessed trails. More than 26 miles of trails connect to additional Forest Service trails for nearly 50 miles of fun. Snowbasin also offers gondola bike access to challenging uphill climbs and extreme downhill switchbacks. Novice and moderate trails are the perfect choice for a scenic family ride or picnic. Helmets are required to access the gondola with a mountain bike. The Grizzly Center, located off the Main Plaza, offers full rental packages at the Rental Shop. Trail maps are also available in the Grizzly Center. Snowbasin trails are open to the public seven days a week, with gondola service available on weekends during the summer season.

Wheeler Creek in Ogden

Wheeler Creek near Ogden offers an amazing biking experience all year round. This is a trail that is great for all seasons except for the cold winter months. Most of the trail is beginner-friendly, however, it does get a bit more technical as you progress. Whilst you are on your way there, you may be interested in viewing some Ogden Utah real estate.

Mill Creek Pipeline in Salt Lake City

When I think of biking trails in Utah, Salt Lake City isn’t usually a city that comes to mind. However, the Mill Creek Pipeline offers a fantastic beginner trail. During the trail, you can view an old pipeline route, which is mostly flat. This is definitely a trail that would be highly enjoyable for beginner bikers.
