Do I have to pay to enter?
That will depend on the area you want to explore. Anderson Cove, Port Ramp Marina, Middle Inlet, and Cemetery Point charge a fee of around $15 for those with a boat and $7 for walk-ins. By paying a fee, you will also get access to pavilions, picnic areas, and restrooms.

Is it pet friendly?

Camping is not allowed on the beaches, except for an overnight stay in Anderson Cove Campground.

Yes! Pinewood Reservoir is a favorite among fishing enthusiasts. The peak season is between May and July, but you’ll get a nibble whatever time you arrive. The reservoir is home to yellow perch, largemouth bass, black crappie, bullhead catfish, and tiger muskellunge.
